Add the support for making notes in eBooks to Cool Reader45 votes
It should be possible to affect fonts and margins no matter what the style sheet says. More control over them would be nice. In Cool Reader for Android there are many more ways to affect them.24 votes

love this app. thank you
any chance of adding a crossword game?...would make it a perfect addition to the puzzle collection?
Settings in night mode should be saved independently from day mode.
For instance: font, strenght frontlight, screen refresh.
It should be nice to - only when switching to night mode - for instance default have a very weak front light and screen refresh to 0 to avoid any possible screen flickering and thereby inconvenience for people nearby.7 votes
So that one can know what they're about to read. A real gift for larger libraries.7 votes

I want that when I read a book, I can call the dictionary app and input a word I want by a keyboard. I look up dictionary very often to increase my vocab. Thanks for listening :)3 votes
The reddit client should download saved posts within defined timespan similar to the pocket functionality but for long reads of reddit posts.3 votes
It would be wonderful to have Simon Tatham's puzzles on my eReader! They are supposed to be portable, after all.
Keyboards for different languages (Spanish, at least), better indentation (the present one is strange in Spanish).3 votes
Are there plans to make an unfork branch? It would be very nice if merging all possible coolreader forks into the main codebase.
Any ideas? This seems a mess...
Kind regards.2 votes
I often find typos while reading and want to be able to edit this on the fly on the ebook reader.1 vote
Currently, the automatic update of vlasoft doesn't copy the dictionaries to the new installation. Perhaps the lines
cp $ROOTBAK/dictionary/*.dict.dz $ROOT/dictionary
cp $ROOTBAK/dictionary/.idx $ROOT/dictionary
cp $ROOT_BAK/dictionary/.ifo $ROOT/dictionary
could be added to the end of vlasoft/upgrade.sh1 vote
If you look up a word in a book with the build in dictionary save the word in a txt file with a separator like ";".
Now you can import that list in a programm like anki, spreadsheet etc and learn the vocabulary.
Especially useful in fantasy fiction books. there are a lot of words I just don't know as native German speaker.1 vote
